Our Purpose

Tree of Life Cosmetics™ began as a solution to foundation-free makeup to help you achieve flawless, glowing, radiant, and healthy skin. We love and cherish the appearance of professional, picture-perfect makeup looks we often see on runways, high fashion magazines, and social media alike. Models like Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones, and Iman were early symbols of beauty, strength, and admiration in the African American community mainly for their bold, daring, and often unapologetic standards of Beauty.

In the early 2000s, makeup brands didn’t cater to melanin rich girls in terms of foundation, complexion, and the tone of our skin. Not too long ago, women of color had very few options which specifically catered to them until more recently.

The solution to this problem was to enhance, correct, and maintain the already existing skin through the creation of lavish and luxurious skincare products using a simple daily skincare routine made with simple, yet highly effective natural and organic high quality ingredients.

At TLC Cosmetics™, we seek to revolutionize skincare, to pioneer, and change the standards of mainstream beauty through the representation of everyday Women across the globe! We want to help you redefine what Beauty looks like and assist you in creating your own personal story of what Beauty means to You.
